For Over a decade
The Bakery of Flesherton is a family owned and operated bakery that has been serving the community of Flesherton for over a decade.
Opened in May 2009 by Jim and Nancy Currie, the Bakery was purchased by Aaron and Ryan Giverhaug in September 2021. Through hard work and perseverance, the Bakery has grown into a popular community hub and stopover for travellers from across Midwestern Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area.
In June 2026, ready for new adventures, the Giverhaug’s sold The Bakery of Flesherton to Front Manager Jessika Spahr, and her husband Matt Chaitram – a local couple with a drive to preserve the Bakery, and care for its employees, patrons, and community.
Known for its delicious bread and pastries, all made from scratch with high-quality ingredients, The Bakery prides itself on its commitment to using locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible, and its dedication to providing friendly, personalized service to every customer who walks through its doors.
From the very beginning, Our goal was to create a warm and welcoming environment where people could gather to enjoy delicious food and good company, and that vision continues to guide the Bakery to this day.
At The Bakery of Flesherton, we take pride in using only the highest quality ingredients in all of our baked goods. We believe that using the best ingredients is essential for creating delicious and healthy products, and we are committed to sourcing our ingredients from trusted suppliers who share our values. In addition to our regular offerings, we also have gluten-free and vegan options available for customers with dietary restrictions or preferences. We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy fresh, homemade baked goods, regardless of their dietary needs, and we are constantly working to expand our menu to meet the needs of all of our customers.
